bugfireinfo.com2026
Built and shipped in an afternoon while the Bug Fire was burning north of Reno, to put evacuation zone lookup, official incident feeds, shelters, air quality, and road closures on one page. A single self-contained HTML file with no JavaScript and no third-party requests, so it loads fast on a phone with one bar. While the fire was active, acreage and containment refreshed hourly from InciWeb through a checker that failed closed — on any bad fetch or unexpected parse it left the page untouched rather than publish a wrong number to people deciding whether to leave. It wound down to a record once the Bug and Stallion Fires were contained, then restarted by hand for the Hawk Fire.

skywayevacroute.com2024–2026
Community advocacy site documenting a damaged 185-foot section of the Skyway — the sole northern evacuation corridor for Paradise, Magalia, and Stirling City, California. goldenencounters.org2026
